Jerry Hill votes against 3rd parties

As part of the weak budget that was passed this morning, Jerry Hill and other lawmakers of both parties elected to put a ballot measure in the June 2010 election that would change California's primaries to open primaries. This essentially removes the 3rd party voices from the November general election.
Not only that. In heavily gerrymandered districts, you could end up with two people from the same party to choose from in the general election.
One voice, one view to vote for, that's California's government for you.
